Did the updated tune solve anyone's pinging problem or did none of the testers have that issue?
I didn't have that issue. I installed an air-oil separator previous to PP2 install.

Did the updated tune solve anyone's pinging problem or did none of the testers have that issue?
If I'm not mistaken, most of the guys who were experiencing ping found it to be due to gas or not having an air/oil separator.

I've never noticed pinging even on crappy California gas. I don't have an air/oil separator.

I have had light pinging on one tank of CA gas from a no name gas station on a really hot day, other than that iv been fine - 2k miles, FP oil sep and fuel sensitivity on.

So I finally got my updated tune.. great improvement. I didn't have any knocking or pinging before, so I won't be any help on that. But rev hang and other throttle issues when cold have been completely resolved. Exhaust pops a little more between shifts, especially in low gears and when cold, which sounds amazing IMO. Overall much smoother; same increase in power as original PP2 tune but doesn't feel as high-strung. I expect y'all will get this new tune within a few weeks.

I am just getting to my first oil change @ 5k miles and am starting to get serious with the PP decision, found a shop here in town to do the install and got some initial pricing.

One thing i am confused on is the perception that you loose TQ with the PP3 (i am not real concerned with the RPM extension as i am hardly ever up that high) but the LMR posted dyno sheets show the best TQ curve with the PP3

There is a loss of peak TQ but again i am more concerned with the curve than peak numbers.

Has anyone driven both and can comment on what these two dyno graphs show at the low RPM (2k-3k) range?

I was in the same boat as you. Ordered 4-27-17, followed up this week and was told ETA to Levittown is 5-30-17.
