Best thing to do, is add a TT to it to give it a better low TQ.
How much boost do you think you can safely run?

I have the option to replace the failed alluminator in my Hellion car with a GT 350 engine or build a sleeved 5.2 block with GT 350 heads.

GT 350 engine is ready to go but looking at 4-6 weeks for 5.2 build.

I went 9.59 with the alluminator and to be honest I am not sure I want( or need) to go any faster especially in a non competing street car so the sleeved block may just be overkill.

I bet a TT flat GT350 plane crank, running low 10's is going to be more fun on the street and sound better doing it...... if it holds up.

I already spoke to my tuner and he says there will be no problem tuning the GT ECU for the different firing order of the Gt350 engine.

I know you have a lot more experience in this than I do, but the stock GT350 plane crank with 7psi (small TT) will give it a nice low end TQ and fun/safe to drive.

For the TT, this might be a good option to keep the turbos closer to center of gravity.

A problem I see running that twin turbo kit on 2015/2016 gt350 tech pack cars is they already have trans temp issues and go into limp mode. With the turbos down low that close to the trans and composite engine oil pan I can already see heat issues.

Hey Voodoo,
Are you seriously considering putting a TT on your GT350?

I would definitely do a TT over blower. I'll see what's available when they come out.

Gt350 sucks at what? Lap times? What? Your opinion? What HP? Lol. Power is not everything and definitely not what this cars was intended for.
Maintaining a flat tq curve.

The GT350 makes more tq/hp over the 5.0. Period. In the turns or 1/4 stock for stock the GT350 is faster in all comparssion. Add the same mods to both cars the GT350 will still slaughter the 5.0

Do you know the trans gearing between the two 6 speeds?

Well, the 5.0 isn't all that slow as you make it look. They don't come with a CAI, X-pipe, 2.75 exhuast and free flowing mufflers from factory. I ran my buddies 2015 GT with CAI, cats deleted with full exhaust and tune by Shaun@AED. I barely had him a car and he was starting to reel me in at the top of my 4th gear. That was from 1st and 2nd gear roll. That car should be in the neighborhood of 430whp.

are you sure you were actually driving it like you should.? because when i was stock i destroyed a full bolt on (e85, cat delete, intake, ARH headers and exhaust) 5.0 . our gearing and high rev are just nasty up top. if only our cars weighed less like around 2-300 lbs lighter we'd have a nasty n/a monster.
