Installed the Big Mouth yesterday. The grille fitted over the top with no clearance issues.

Dan from Velossa Tech was very helpful and provided great service to Australia.

I'm very happy with the outcome. :)

Looks great! and the open hexes look really clean, how did you delete them?

Thanks Mike.

First I tried a flush trim router but ended up marking one of the hexes, thankfully it's only a minor blemish.

Next I tried a Dremel type tool. This was quite tedious and wasn't giving the finish I wanted. Props to those who persevered and did a clean job.

I made an executive decision and carefully hacksawed the back off. The flexible blade hacksaw followed the back plate as can be seen by all the cut marks in the photo. Then I filed and finished with a cork block and sand paper.
I removed about 3 millimetres (1/8 inch) in total.

I believe this last method does give the best finish as there is no risk to damaging the inside of the hexes.

Wouldn't happen to have any pics of a black car with RTR grille and red scoop would you?

Thought I did share some pictures of my big mouth install. Was super easy used a metal dermal bit to cut out my gril and sanded smoth with 120 grit sand paper haven't had a chance to drive the car yet. But very happy with the fit and ease of install

Not too sure why my pictures upload sideways

For the guys running the dual setup, do you notice any increased pressure under the hood? I do HPDE's and I'm thinking that a Big Mouth on the passenger may not be a good idea. I like the dual look, but I don't want to create a problem with it. Any input?

Just got this picture of a Dark grey kit.
Thanks Rob!

Luv to see all these dual Big Mouth setups coming out:thumbsup:

I dint not think it would add pressure as the pass side big mouth doesn't go through to the engine bay. There is a plastic backing behind it so it's not transfering air into the engine bay.
