So I've come to learn that for the same price as a retail 2015 Mustang GT, I can get a used 2011/2012 GT500. I'm torn! I know the GT500 will hold its value better, and considering it's already depreciated, I wouldn't be losing as much money if I decide to sell it in the future, but the 2015 is on an all new platform.
Which should handle better? I know stock for stock, the GT500 should outperform it in all aspects, and it's easier to mod it and get power, seeing as the engine already comes with a stout shortblock, plus a supercharger.
A little off topic, but if you were to throw money into the suspension of a 2011 Mustang GT, it should outperform the GT500, correct?
Anyway, I'm leaning towards the GT500. Has anybody else had to make a decision like this, and what did you choose?
[EDIT]
I'm blind, I found somebody else asking these same questions in another thread here.
