White 2015 GT Base --SOLD
I'm looking to get back into a S550. Having a hard time finding one close to me. I found one 4 hrs away at a dealer that's an Oxford White base model 2016 GT with 14500 miles on it. Appears stock(not sure yet if it's ever been modded). The price it's listed at is 27.5. I'm thinking that's a little high for a base, considering the '18 has revisions and it's close to winter time. So does this seem like a fair price?

Consider this. I purchased a NEW 2015 GT with performance pack for ~33k. This was June 23, 2015. I could have gotten a new GT without performance pack for <30k. I would consider 27.5k to be high. See if they'll take it down to 24k. I'm willing to bet someone drove it for 14k miles, realized it wasn't for them and sold it, and it's been on the lot for a year or more with that price.

I was thinking 24g as well. Figured I could probably get new base for 30 or maybe a smidge under. I sold my last one for 24g with 12k on it. That was with a warranty.

You need to actually see the car in person to judge if the asking price is in line or not. If the car is pristine it'll bring the money, they always do. If it's not, it won't. If your looking 4hrs away that tells me your area isn't flush with nice used s550gt's. I went 600 miles to get mine. I was looking nationwide and as many s550 are out there it still took me four months to find what I wanted.

I live in a crap part of the country where it's nothing but corn, beans, cows, and pigs. Unfortunately the closest major city is 3hrs away. I'm willing to travel and come home empty handed for something that I don't see as a good deal.

If your willing to travel you can get a brand new '17 base GT m6 for $26,900. For example, Autonation Ford in Houston, Tx. has them as well as other dealers.

I'd rent a cheap car and drive a new one home.

Another vote for too high... I just paid 32K for a premium package auto GT new....which leads me to believe I could have got a base GT 5 speed for close to what they advertised the used one for

Too high. Trucar in my area (not a cheap area) says $27.9 for a brand new 2017 base MT6.

be careful with houston or certain florida cars....they may come with flooding damage.

i also vote yes its too high. i paid $26k for my base GT with 5k on the odo last year and felt that was a little higher than usual. (but the others that i found were going for $29k used)

Too high. I paid 30,600 before taxes for my base 2016 PP GT when I bought it new.
