I had 80 installed. Turns out it was incompatible with my Maui Jim sunglasses.
I would get a rainbow effect in direct glaring sun.
I removed it.

Thank for the heads up, any rainbow effect without the sunglasses?

It was fine without sunglasses. It also did a good job of keeping the interior cool.

Agree with chef about the heat...being in Florida, any little bit you can do helps, so it's on and staying on. With polarized sun-glasses you can sometimes get weird effects, but nothing that will completely distract you or cause a crash...I embrace the effects ;)

I've done this twice (lost first windshield to a rock chip)... makes a big difference with the heat and protecting the dash IMO.

The problem most people will see is gonna be rainbow effect if the tint and your sunglasses are both polarized.
I just use a cheap sunshade from walmart to keep sun off the dash.

I have been considering this - how is it driving at night - any adverse effects?

I have 80 and there is no loss of vision that I can tell at night.
I also have polarized sunglasses and the rainbow effect hardly noticeable.

Have my windshield tinted since week one of ownership, first car I have ever done the windshield and I love it... So nice and cool in the car during the day and no issues at night as of yet.

Is that a matte black vinyl wrap? That is incredible.

We have ours tinted, I believe it was supposed to be 50%, but may actually be 35% lol

It goes a long way in preventing glare from the sun

It's Avery Dennison's Charcoal Matte Metallic (installed by Vinyl Images here in St. Louis :first:)

Our Camaro is Avery's satin black metallic:

Also has a tinted windshield
