Great read. Always good information and testing shared here.
Edit- should be ford performance exhaust

Awesome read. From the article, "The new exhaust put down an average of 377whp at 6,450rpm and 345lb-ft of torque at 4,000rpm on a slightly hotter 89*F day with similar humidity. This gives us a peak to peak gain of 7.09whp and 3.02lb-ft of torque and a maximum gain of 13.62whp and 13.26lb-ft of torque at 5,400rpm. The freer flowing mufflers and replacing the resonator with an X-pipe improved the efficiency of our engine across the board with an average increase of 5-7lb-ft of torque from 2,700-6,700rpm."

Thanks for providing this!

They Dyno'd in 4th. Which gear is 1:1? I thought it was best to dyno in 5th.

Great article aside from the temporary vision loss with the white text on a black background (basic UI design folks).

Good to see that there are verified power gains to be had from a simple catback system.

From the article-

This is a base car with 3.31 rear gears that requires being dynoed in 4th*gear to avoid hitting the top speed governor (3.73 geared cars can be dynoed in the proper 1:1 ratio 5th*gear).

Yea the format is a bit annoying but its still a good read. What I really want is that valence. The added power is just a bonus. I guess those who claim that cat-backs don't make power are wrong.
