For ref current BASE PRICE is £38095... IF IT'S £44K that's a rise of £6k... :eyebulge:

Interesting. So that would be a base price of around £42,500 for a GT. Plus options. Obviously not sure what these will be as yet but you would imagine Magneride and active exhaust plus the nav, ICE, Recaros etc will easily take it to around £45/46-ish and auto will be another £2.5-ish. So a fully loaded auto GT will be around the £50k mark and just over for the convertible.

Any more than £45k and I’ll be looking at a MY17 instead next month

If you're saying a my17 with a £44-45k budget maximum you could get a used one and load it with a supercharger, @jimboy2 is selling his for 33k or so.:eyebulge:

I just thought it was p1ss poor grammar/typo lol...

so £42k base price.

and people laughed when i said it'd end up being a 50k car ...... at the price of some of the options it only takes a couple of them to be knocking on that door. i'll still be surprised if base is 42k still expecting closer to 45k on the road even for base

I guess it can be tricky looking at a 4 digit number and mistaking it for a 5.

My boy (4 year old) sometimes gets confused too

I only look at things with 6-8 zero's, anything less is pocket change :headbonk::lol:

I believe that price was given by someone based in Sweden where prices are already high and the price given was for a fully loaded example.
However, I think I'll wait to see the real prices from Ford in 2 weeks time before speculating on something some guy from Sweden posted on an Internet forum.

My local dealer only has the Shadow version in and that is £40,850 with a manual.
