Hey guys! Thanks to mustangmike86 for the initial discovery, I have been successful in enabling the 4 Drive Modes on my 2015 V6!

When in sport + there is a marked increase in throttle response and a change in transmission behavior. The auto trans in sport + is far more aggressive then in normal drive mode but not as aggressive as when I actually shift into S. It will hold shifts longer and is more eager to downshift based on throttle input but will still shift into 6th during normal driving unlike when in S. Track mode feels slightly more aggressive but not much of an improvement over sport + except for the removal of traction control. Snow/wet did not feel any different then normal mode??? I am assuming that this mode just turns up the sensitivity of stability control?

To enable drive modes you will first need a premium radio bezel (MFT or Sync 3 swap) in order to have the 4th hardware toggle. You then need to change these As Built Data lines in the instrument cluster and ABS module. Instructions on how to acomplish this are posted here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61773

That is sick. So all cars have it but are just disabled huh. Now that 4th toggle is actual use now.

I need to stop buying things and save for that sync 3.

I wonder if the Tesla's mode button would do the same. Does the mode button do anything for a manual? I know my friends GT has a snow mode and such.

The mode button will still change throttle response and adjust stability control with a manual trans. And from what I have heard, the Tesla unit mode toggle does actually work so you can use that as a way to get your 4th toggle.

Nice discovery! I'm not surprised the modes were always there but "locked". Anything they could do to de-content the base cars lol.

Wow! I feel like a red neck fishin on the river bank at night, when the UFO lands beside me and the aliens try and describe how their FTL drive works!!:eyebulge::crazy:

So once the drive mode is selected on screen, do you stay in D or drop to S? Does it matter? Curious, thank you for the find!

The drive mode is independent of the shifter! So Sport + can be on either D or S.

I feel like I saw this one day in a thread somewhere but can you swap the Premium toggles with the Base buttons instead of swapping the whole panel?

Edit: I meant to add that you would also be swapping the electronics/board/connectors behind those toggles as well of course, not just the toggles themselves. See I have a TomTop swap and my thoughts are, and they could be wrong, is you don't need the whole Sync 3 per say just the toggles with their electronics (whatever those are called behind the panel itself).

The panel would need to be swapped, or heavily modified. The plastic seperators between the buttons on the base panel are attached, and would need removed.

Matteo's, you don't need to read the whole thread, just the 1st post. It tells you what you need and gives instructions.

Mk I getcha, I getcha. I bet if one was to take their time it could be cleanly done. I may be down to tackle that. Can you change drive modes through the menu in the gauge cluster or only through the toggles?

Drive modes are only accessible through the toggle. And you could possibly get away with installing a Tom top screen into a premium bezel. The only question would be as to how the climate system will function... The toggles are connected to the dual zone climate controls so you can not get one without the other.
