The only you're not able to mod is the tribars :eyebulge: ???
OK, next week I come to you to mod my rear lights.

Is it ok for you ? Yes, fine, next week I'll be by you

Guys, I did some home work and will get a sample of this one coming in.
Sell price will be 39,95,- VAT and EU freight included !!

Papinist, John. Looking at the setup, ok?

I'll see if it can be delivered with 2 good scotch blocks for the non DIY users who don't want to cut the parking light cable.

This kit has 20 LEDS, 10 amber and 10 whites type 5730.
400 to 500 lumen per color

Any more ideas as I probably can get a kind of made to measure setup...

What's the name of the plug that should be on it allowing us to just clip it on the parking light cable ? I'll probably be able to get a version with this plug making lives easier for Non-DIY fellows....

The setup looks OK for me. Did you provide it with the Dimmed option for night ?
Because 400 to 500 lumens could be very bright.

I already ordered a set in China with an output of more than 500 lumens :eyebulge:

From the items description :
High luminous efficiency with over 500 Lumen high brightness light output

http://www.ebay.fr/itm/2pc-T20-7440...-LED-DRL-Turn-Signal-Light-Kit-/201392316986?

So I probably need a dimm module for night use.

For the connectors, you'll need something like this :

I'll check what can be done for dimming...

As connector to make life easy this scotch block seems 10X easier to use without having to cut any cables...

Indeed, my car is full of this connector :D
And it's very easy to plug on the OEM wires.

Great news Untamed! These seem identical to the one I found from California, only wires colors are different. The bulb itself looks identical to me. Mine too reports 500 lumen:

High luminous efficiency with over 500 Lumen high brightness light output.
John, I forgot to check these specs, however if they have real 500 lumens these are not too much. The lights they made is perfect IMO.

The scotch blocks are perfect (I called it 'quick splice'): I used a different setup because of the headlights mod, but I would have used this otherwise.

Part two

I covered it with auto agglomerating tape (once placed it's waterproof)
What sort of tape is that Stefano. IS that a heat shrink?

Cheers
Shane
I believe the correct name is "Autoamalgamating tape", it is used to protect joints on wires for underwater pumps and similar situations.

It's not a heat shrink: it activates by stretching it (about 150% to 200% of its original size) and covering the part overlapping it. It's very cheap (I probably paid about 4-5 euros) and very useful :)

an example here:

Mine too :D
However, I would also use this with a spare piece of wire with a female spade connector, then connecting it to the male spade connector from switchback. So if one day you need to remove the switchback, you don't need to cut the wire.

Indeed, that's also a good point. :D

With the one I bought, you have a kit of cables with the female connector, then easy to plug and unplug.
