Hey guys and gals, thought it was about time to introduce my beast.
Unfortunately the start of my ownership was a sad day for me, as some of you know the day I collected my car my father passed away so this car now has alot of meaning to me as I know he would have loved a ride in it. Even before I had seen the car in real life I knew the direction I was going to take with the styling of the car... Sinister was my plan going down the grey, black and red theme. So it only seemed right to give the name "Sinister P" as my fathers name was Peter.
So here he is the day I picked it up from Peoples Ford Edinburgh.
First things first was to see what he was making on the dyno so a quick trip to MB Garage services near Ellon,
Which produced a healthy 372bhp and 369lbft at the wheels.
As my wife will tell you I cant leave any of my cars alone so the modifying began long before it even had the car... I had all this waiting a good 6 months before the car was even in production
So I began throwing on the parts.
I did a couple of the "free mods" like the engine bay sound deadening delete and tucked my bonnet "hood" for Muricans... release cable.
My wife and I are huge petrol heads she drives a Audi RS4 4.2 v8 hence why I had to get a 5.0 v8 so we have a prity amazing drive way!
since we both dont want anything to happen to our motors I got in touch with Blackvue UK to ask them about a pair of their dash camera kits. so they sent us out a pair of their dr650s-2ch systems which record front and rear and a lot more. I installed mine neatly up under my mirror.
I wanted to add some colour to the engine bay covers to tie in the cars theme so a days work turned them from plain to "not so plain" lol
from this:-
with a bit of this:-
and this (wife didnt know):-
to this:-
finally ended up in the engine bay looking a lot better just for a days work...
My lovely wife surprised me with a Coyote badge to tie in to the theme of the car
Which I thought would be a 2 min job to fit... boy was I wrong lol
I took this chance to fit my satin black pony and 5,0 badges also opened up the grille holes on both ends to allow more air flow to the air intake.
Next up was my "custom made" rear seat delete so that our dog can come with us on our adventures,
our lump is in the back seat the driver is our friends dog who didnt quite understand what we were trying to do...
So that brings us to how it sits now with the addition of window tints all round, a sun strip, a bobble head on the parcel shelf, couple stickers and a few coats of wax,
Thanks for reading any comments or suggestions are welcome.
