Yeah, I was thinking that. People already having an issue with windowing their blocks and boring it out will just be lighting money on fire.
The thing I think that holds the engine back is the DI fuel pump...there's not a lot of extra capacity in the system. I know that there's now 3rd party bigger fuel pumps, but they've got to be spendy...

Rather than a full fuel pump replacement somebody needs to look into developing fuel pump internals that are the first mod you ever do on Mazdaspeeds and multiple Audi and VW DI motors. Much more cost effective.
