Selling my GT350 - Have a question

Hello All,

As much as I LOVE my GT350 I will be putting it up for sale. I bought the car at the end of this March brand new and paid MSRP. It is a 2017 Ruby Red with approx 1400 Miles with Black stripes and the convenience package. I am looking for 58K. My question is have the used prices dropped off at all in the last 6 months or so or have the values pretty much held? And if so, what is the realistic expectation for a private sale? I checked with the stealerships just to see and they are at 52K-53K so that ain't happening. I live in the Southeast so I was curious not only for my area but for the rest of the country.

I sold mine in AL, 50k 9k miles. 53k Is actually a good deal from a dealer. Maybe a little more private party but theses are selling for MSRP new. Good luck. I sold mine to buy an R, why are you selling yours?

OP, too bad, that is one nice RR Shelby, don't see those much around here, actually i've never seen one in person, was told there is one at my local dealership.

I can't speak for pricing, but I would certainly highlight the fact that you have the Conv. Pack with the Comfort/Power/Heated/Cooled seats. Most if not all of the later '17s were only available with the Recaros, so someone desiring the comfort seats would be grateful.

In the Midwest the going rate for new is MSRP with a few here and there sprinkled less than MSRP. I thik 53k from the dealer is solid. Private Party 55k to 58k max. Who knows though as you just need the one right buyer.

With new cars going for MSRP I don't think you will get away with only a 2k hit.

I think you're looking around $55k for a private sale given the current market.

The car looks really great! I think resale will probably vary a lot across the country. If you live in California, for instance, I believe you have a better chance to get more money. If you live near recently flooded areas people might be more likely to low-ball a nearly new used car. If you live in the NE, better. If you live in the middle of the country it's going to be tougher to get top dollar in my opinion.

I just purchased a GT PP Ruby Red. Love the color. Can I ask why you decided to sell your GT350? Honestly I serious considered getting a GT350. I could get one here in Minneapolis around $52K found a used one under $50K but decided it might be a bit too exotic for a regular driver. I ordered the GT PP. This car is almost too exotic for a regular driver. Why are you selling your GT350 already?

First off I'm selling to get back into the corvette world. Owned a couple of Z06's and would love to again. Always wanted to own a Shelby so I jumped in. Love the car and color but the Z06 has a strong hold on me.....lol. Anyways maybe 56k or so would be more realistic with a private sale.

On the flip side a local dealer had a Black R recently for 50K over......stickered for $119K!! Not sure what the final sale price was but it sold a few weeks ago after being on the floor for a short period of time. This is in South Carolina. Crazy!
