Right now I have the stock 18 inch wheels on my gt. I want to go up to a 19 inch so I can fit 285s.

I honestly know very little about wheels and it seems there is a lot to know. I want something with solid performance but can be daily driven. I know a lot of people look for light wheels for track use but I hear they may not be great for day to day use.

My budget is about 2k for a set of 4 wheels without tires. If prefer something black. What are good things to look for when shopping for a canyon carving and grocery running wheel?

Thanks in advance for any advice

I have a brand new 2017 GT premium with the black accent package. It has black 19 wheels with the Pirelli Pzero 255 40 19 tires. I just did the LPF twin turbo kit & all the supporting mods & my car is making 816 whp now & I had to buy new wheels & tires due to the added power. My car has 750 miles on it & I am going to sell my stock wheels with the tires for $1000.00 including free shipping. Let me know if you want them? These wheels can fit 285's

Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions, Il take a look at all these websites later on.

So is it sort of accepted that light wheels are better?

Also to the gentleman selling his wheels and tires, that is a steal but I'd hate to throw away those perfectly good tires. Appreciate the info though
