Yep make sure you do this.

Then just put it in 5th since you're a manual and rev it out!

I'd pick up a can of Octanium just for shits and giggles.

If the numbers aren't as expected you can rule out bad gas.

If things look good you can always see how much more she'll make with a little octane.

Currently on factory pump, Roush BAP, and 72lb injectors, on 93 pump gas.

Likely keep it this way for the rest of this season, do the triple pump, ID1300, and e85 conversion over the winter.

I want to really shake the car down at the track the next few months, get it consistent and making good passes for how it sits, then adding the additional power wont be as difficult to dial in, or so I think lol.

I've never pulled any fuses to dyno my car. Just turn advance track all the way off. Works fine...

I didn't pull any fuses either. Revved to 7300 no problem in 4th gear on dynapacks in track mode stock whipple tune. Apparently with dynapacks it doesn't matter whether or not you use a 1:1 gear.

Now that I'm revving to 7800 with the ATI/OPG/CS, I'm going to dyno it again to see what it does. For anyone in North Eastern PA, there is a mobile dyno event at the A and A auto store in Exeter on 9/9. I believe pulls are going to be super cheap...like $10 or $20

Or simply unplug the connector in front of the driver side strut tower brace to put it in 'dyno mode'.
Sorry to go off topic but this might help someone else....

On the driver side I have that connector coming from in front of the strut tower but there is no other connection it connects to, so it isn't used on my car.

What exactly is this connector? My car is an auto BTW.

the fuse and all is just because they found that its not fully off when you use the button. so in order to keep it from interceding you disable it. its just makes sure it doesnt kick on and limit some power.might be different in stock tunes vs aftermarket im not sure just what i heard

Thanks guys, I will just yank the fuse to be certain.

Now my other issue is my dang rev limiter is set to 7500 and waiting on Whipple guys to come back to me, seems like I have a stage 1 calibration settings (7200 and 7500 rev limiter). I want to rev this thing to 7800 or so on the dyno.

Boost reading on dyno

What are your dyno operators all doing for monitoring boost level during dyno sessions? The guy I used could not find anywhere to tap into so I did not get a boost reading during my runs.
