This^.

Also, if you can afford to spunk the thick end of £80K on a car, is another kid really the difference between keeping it and having to sell? (The car I mean, not the kid). :D
I don't see a Ford releasing the Mustang estate any time soon :D

Hell no! Lots of other cars worthy of a 85k price tag. Not a modded mustang :headbonk:
That was my point, the Mustang is amazing for the price but the build quality of an £85k would be far superior.

If you had £85k to spend on a car, would you still buy a Mustang ?
All day long. Would have a classic in a heartbeat, RHD.

Yep....although I'd probably buy TWO Mustangs for my £85k :D

 Well you say not the kid but if I already had two it might be worth considering. He maybe needed five seats.

I'd still WANT a Mustang though so if I had to spend £85k it would probably be a reasonably modded GT and a race red Eco for when I was slumming it ;)

I was just thinking S550 but if I had the spare cash and garage space then definitely get a classic
Well, as TT says - would probably try to squeeze in one of each!

Original GT350 in red w/ white stripes would be my top choice (most likely a replica of course) :D

That's the coolant expansion tank. That's not the failing part.

He can't have loved it that much if he's traded it after less than 18 months :D
I thought that was the part - the Mishimoto 'coolant expansion tank' is what people are suggesting to replace the failing part (i.e., the OEM 'coolant expansion tank' ) - see below.
If I'm wrong, what is the failing part?

There's an expansion tank, that is engine coolant. There's then an Oil cooler. They're recommending replace the oil cooler, the expansion tank shows the issues with the cooler as it's p1ssing oil into it.
They were suggesting swapping to a mishimoto ithink as a joke, so there was no more staining on the stock one.

As Manders says it's the oil cooler that fails and oil and coolant can contaminate each other. Oil in the coolant is a flush. Coolant in the oil is a whole world of pain down the road. Resolution is new engine but I don't think anyone has had one despite the failures. Location? Not sure but lower engine, passenger side would be one guess...Gibbo knows!
There is a Mishimoto oil/air cooler mod but someone reckoned it would be £1000 fitted which is a lot on a warrantied car. And apparently it doesn't fit anyway...

That's a red one off the list then.
Yeah it'd attract too much unwanted attention in such a dump, should go for something boring and blend in like "OMM - 'My turbo diesel 1l middle management w4nker saloon'" or "OW - 'I like to be cool and edgy but I went for a white car'" to avoid that attention, pretty common aint they ;)!

God, someones gonna read this and think we're serious :lol::lol::lol:
