Due to giving (all) my money lately to the local Police with speeding fines, I decided to invest a month ago in a warning system.

It works (perfectly) for that, but as an added bonus, and perhaps more interesting to some on here is that it doubles as a really nice digi speedo... something which we all miss on our car I think.

The system is a Coyote MINI and you can purchase via Amazon in the UK. AFAIK it will cover all fixed cameras in the UK too, but coverage for mobile traps might be more patchy as it relies on a peer-to-peer system.

Coverage in mainland EU is spot on.

In any case, the speedo part of it is accurate, large, very easy to see and really works well.

System can be screen, vent or dash mounted and is powered via mini-USB to either a 12v socket or a USB socket.

Ive no affiliation apart from being a satisfied customer and im (loving) the speedo :)

Interesting. Could be similar to the Road Angel Gem+ https://www.amazon.co.uk/Road-Angel...TF8&qid=1495120693&sr=8-2&keywords=road+angel which is available in UK but I don't know about Europe.

I'm always partial to improving my safety camera defences. Currently I use the free TomTom Speed Cameras app on my mobile phone which a GPS and peer to peer solution, Waze witch is even more crowd sourced updated and the fixed list in my Thinkware F750 dash cam.

Waze great for crowd sourced temporary cameras e.g. Vans. Between a Lund ngauge - speed display - and the thinkware voice alerts I'm pretty much there where your coyote system gets you.
