I was curious if X pricing is under invoice? Or if you were to get a dealer to sell you one at invoice if that is a much better deal than X pricing?

Check with the dealer because their are two extra "x-plan" incentives totalling $1250 that I was elidgeable for in addition to regular x plan pricing. They won’t bring it up, but you should be able to put this with the $750 private cash to get $2000 Extra off Xplan.

Bonus Cash
X-Plan Performance Partner Recognition Direct Offer
Start Date: 1/4/2017
End Date: 1/2/2018
Group Affiliation: X-PLAN
Amount: $750.00

Bonus Cash
X-Plan Partner Plus Offer Program
Start Date: 7/6/2017
End Date: 10/2/2017
Group Affiliation: X-PLAN

How do you find incentives like these? Just have to be "in the know"?

When I ordered my '15 on the X plan from Mustang Club of America, it knocked off about $2000 off list. I was there on the day ordering banks opened. Glad I did because they had a price increase a few weeks later.
Only way to get a great deal on an '18 is to wait for the '19's to come out. No price breaks on the latest and greatest unless you have compromising photos of the owner of the dealership with farm animals or hookers.

X-plan is a non-negotiable price which also caps dealer fees at a set amount ($100 I think). Most of the time, this is better on a brand new car which has high demand. If you feel like the dealership is willing to negotiate below invoice, watch out for additional dealer fees, inflated interest, or lower trade in value.

Just wait until they don't sell. Ford just lost 7.5% in sales. Once the 18s don't move like they hope, it will be discount city.

Did you order an 18 already? If so, which dealership? Jones keeps telling me they can't order yet.

X plan, which is supplier and "friends" discount and A/Z plan (mostly Ford employees and retirees) are basically set price. Then additional discounts are applied on top of that, but it varies with your zip code (I think it's the zip code of your residence, not of the dealer). Ford is going to adjust incentives regionally if too many cars are building up in inventory for your area.

So you could have $2000 in incentives but no X plan, or X plan and $2000 of incentives on top of that, or just X plan, or no incentives at all and just have to pay MSRP if you can't talk them down.

Then don't forget the taxes. The taxes are going to be calculated based on the number after incentives and including any money for an early lease termination or being unside down on a financed car. So if you save money upfront you save money on taxes too.

Best deal I have seen so far is a dealer said they would do $200 under invoice on a order of a new 2018.
