My Pony puddle light has gone all stupid on the drivers side. It now looks like it's being mounted by a bull. lol Has anyone else had their Pony projector go off?

Heaps of us.

There's a new (improved) replacement part available now.

Get your dealer to replace it under warranty (make sure they have stock).

My driver's side was replaced months ago and is still going strong.

Had my Pony for 16months now and the projector was starting to go a bit funny before the 12month service a few months ago. Should have mentioned it then. Oh well, back to the dealer then. So i guess the other side will eventually stuff up to? Before warranty runs out, i hope. Thanks Drewbo.

My passenger side is as good as new.

That door hardly gets used, not sure if that makes a difference.

Well my car isn't a daily driver. Has covered about 4000km's. Maybe i need to drive it more, to uncover faults, before warranty expires.

I wonder if they fixed this problem in the MY17 models? The forum used to be filled with comments about this but hardly any now.

Mines an MY17 and a DD for work so plenty of use (well the drivers door anyway) but no issues with the pony lamp.

Just had my passenger lamp replaced for the 2nd time - this time with the new design of part (so hopefully will be the last time). Now just have to wait for the driver's side one to fail again (shouldn't be long now), and get the new part in there, and I'll be set!

My new puddle light (of the new design) is all blurry - not crisp and sharp like the old one. Are others experiencing the same ?

Are the lamps of the new design (like the one on the left)) - or recessed back inside the lens assembly like the old design (on the right)? (I don't know when they started to use the new design in production)

What worries me is that mine is fine - no problems at all! Maybe I should start slamming the door.
