Mantic Series 9000 Twin Disk Cerametallic Clutch Install

It has been a little while, but I remember it being either 500 miles or 1000 clutch engagements, whichever comes first. It's definitely easier to just watch the odometer than trying to count how many times you pressed the clutch pedal. I sat in bumper to bumper traffic for 3 days in a row on my way home from work, I only put 250 miles or so but I'm almost positive I far exceeded 1000 clutch engagements in that time. I could feel a big difference in the way the clutch grabbed. It became a little more predictable, when new it engaged really smooth but once it got hot it would try to grab a little harder, especially in traffic when it got really hot. Breaking a clutch in in traffic is probably not advisable but I had no choice. Once its broken in clutch engagement is slightly more aggressive than when it's brand new but doesn't seem to change as the clutch heats up.

If you think that's expensive try 4g-6g for an something like a Tilton or Os Giken for a supra. This is nothing . :lol:

It seems most people running this clutch have the cerametallic version. Does anyone run the organic version? If so, what is your experience?
