GT w/PP2 vs ecoboost in half throttle race

To be honest there's SO many parts in the rear end that have the exact same sound on a bump lol. I chased that same thump all over on my '14. Checked bearings, suspension, every single bolt, exhaust etc. Come to find out it was just a sway bar link that had such a MINUTE amount of play you really couldn't tell. When you checked it, the bar has a thump to it anyways when you hit it, but we held it down and tapped it with a mallet and sure enough there was about 1/64th of an inch of play that was causing it. Crazy that such a tiny amount of space caused such a loud ass noise.

Working at a shop previously, I have just gotten so used to checking bearings every time I lift it just in case.

This rolling joke/discussion is almost as good/dumb as the "Where to get rocket-ship tips" one that went on forever over on C5...

That's the part throttle sweet spot... also known as the "ec0boost zone". If you are driving a GT don't get caught in the "ec0boost zone"... you will lose.

Since the mods are tightening up their reigns on intermodel bashing, maybe they will do their duty here and close this shit. Oh, I forgot. They are all GT owners too and don't care if the Ecoboost gets bashed. You can't get away from this shit on this forum. Don't even know why I try anymore. Double standards, hypocrisy, you see it all on this forum...

I think there is a confusion with the quick response of a small turbo engine(torque sensation)and the linear power(lack of torque sensation) of the big lunged coyote.

Anyways I wait for a v6 ecoboost in the mustang.
