To be honest there's SO many parts in the rear end that have the exact same sound on a bump lol. I chased that same thump all over on my '14. Checked bearings, suspension, every single bolt, exhaust etc. Come to find out it was just a sway bar link that had such a MINUTE amount of play you really couldn't tell. When you checked it, the bar has a thump to it anyways when you hit it, but we held it down and tapped it with a mallet and sure enough there was about 1/64th of an inch of play that was causing it. Crazy that such a tiny amount of space caused such a loud ass noise.Mine was a no brainer, wheel had about a 1/4 inch of slop in it when I jacked it up and grabbed it with both hands and pushed/pulled.It only made noise when I went over a bump at certain speeds, it was like thump dump. Originally I would of bet money it was suspension.
Working at a shop previously, I have just gotten so used to checking bearings every time I lift it just in case.
