So last night i was at a stop light and noticed a air leak like sound coming out of the transmission when engaging and disengaging the clutch, today i was checking it out again and it seems like it could be a throwout bearing. Made an appt for tuesday to go get it checked out at the dealer.

Do you guys have any idea what it could be? Car is stock other then a catback

Heres a video of engaging and disengaging the clutch

Mine does the same thing. Happens just as your letting the clutch out. Kind of a shhhttt sound. Only noticeable when next to another car or building. I'm on my 3rd clutch and T.O. bearing. All have made this sound.

So is this normal? Or its something that will be taken care under warranty?

Sounds like the throwout bearing. Mine made a similar noise for about 500 miles and then it failed completely.

Did you have to replace the whole clutch or just the throwout bearing?

You don't have to replace the clutch at the same time, but I went ahead and used the opportunity to put in an aftermarket clutch. The labor will be similar whether you replace the clutch or not.
