Weight, strength to hold more up and less vibration, all things I don't really need to spend an extra 500 to 600 bucks more for . weight reduc is a whopping half pound and I'm not going to make a 1000 +hp car either lol. Vibrations minimal compared to stock. Shouldn't bother anyone

Cf shafts are easier on axles unlike Aluminium.

Bumping this back up now that its been a few years of both aluminum and CF being used in many cars....

Anyone want to weigh in on which has had less NVH or held up well in a high whp application? Specifically looking for feedback from M6 guys.

Bump. Interested in the pros and cons.

Also, can someone confirm the weight differences on each?

Lost my DSS CF driveshaft since the yoke separated from the tube during a burnout on an unprepped surface. Should find out this week if DSS found a root cause.

I like to disassemble things.
Got any photos of the failed bond?

DSS giving me the run around. They still can't tell me if the thing has even been looked at yet and I didn't snap any photos before boxing it up and sending it to them.

Still wasn't able to get pics but they described the issue to me as a complete bonding failure of the tube to the yoke. They're covering it under warranty so I guess I can't complain too much.
