Also, give it some time. It will get better.

I just installed in mbrp race exhaust and i realized it drones at 1800-2000 rpm. Anyone knows a way to remove drone ?
Did you try the ANC disable trick?

Significantly. Give it some time. When I installed it, although I wanted a loud exhaust, I was also a bit surprized. But as I said, to my taste its bass tone is unparalleled, the best out there.

Exhausts get louder over time, not quieter.

I believe you just significantly got used to it

Or maybe I just got deaf over time

Seriously though, it gets better. duanbo if after a while you feel that it is still loud in the cabin, some people have suggested adding a resonator. I wouldn't do it, but it could be a solution if drone annoys you.

Have the MBRP "Street" catback and I don't think it is loud at all. Two things, does anyone know how much difference there is between the Race and Street? Does anyone have the Race version that they would want to sell just the exhaust (muffler?) portion so I can switch them out?

Would a resonator change the sound ? I found out it also drones on the highway when im at like 3500 rpm. Drones pretty bad.

Do you know if its true that some people have the same car and same exhaust but not all of them drone ?

I believe the sound of the exhaust is the same on every car. It is quiet on idle and when not under load, but under load it is loud inside and outside the cabin. There is nothing to do about it, except maybe adding a resonator. As I said, it's a matter of taste.

Why don't you contact stangchief. You can trade the axle-back portion of your exhaust for his street version. This might be a very good idea for both of you.

Can also be disabled via software(Forscan).
Drew, what is the code for that on Forscan? Is it ACM 727-01-01 xxxx x0xx xxxx (0 instead of 1)? Does it disable the active noise cancellation or the sound symposer?
