Tesla's Market Capitalization Higher Than Ford's Today

I was just curious what other's think about this? There is lots of controversy surrounding Tesla with their government subsidies so was just curious.

Market cap is not everything, it has as much to do with popularity with investors, growth potential, etc. Ford is obviously more solid of a company, with around $150B in revenue vs. $8B for Tesla. But the "cool" companies like Facebook, Amazon, Google, Apple attract more investor attention which obviously raises the market cap.
