Greets All,

I was wondering if any Non-USA people know the part number of the fog light housing. I want to get a good look at how the lens looks, and looking to see if it would be worth me replacing the USA version which in my personal opinion is useless. I dont know what Ford was thinking with the fog lights, but Fog lights are suppose to emit a light 10'-15' under cutting the fog, well these things are lucky if they emit past the nose of the car.

I've searched google and such with all keywords I can think of but I keep either seeing the USA version, or for prior to 2015. I wanted to replace the leds originally in the USA version, but they arent serviceable which truly blows. If any EU owners want to chime in and tell me if they are happy with them or not, or even possibly take shots in the dark with them on, that would be awesome. Cause I definitely do not like the USA version.

Thanks.

I have my EU front fog lights for sale here :

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61161

I swapped them for the US version and I have them now laying around at home. Let me know if you need other informations about them
May I ask why you changed them to US versions? My interest in them is the US versions dont throw light far enough, If I'm on level ground and turn just the fog lights on I cant see the light being emitted past the nose of the car, I would have to get out of the car just to see it. I was presuming because the EU uses a different housing it would emit the light the 10-15' as it should.

I am interested if I'm going to achieve what I'm looking for.

And I do have one other question John577 Whats the gear for? Self adjustment? I know the US version doesnt have this.

The main reason was the look of the EU light, I really don't like it. The EU housing has 2 functions, DRL + fog. As I changed the place of the DRL (activated the tri-bars on my EU model + switchbacks), I don't needed this dual function. The US version is more classy and also has a 'darker' look as the EU clear lense...

The light output of the EU light is not so good because of the halogen bulb they putted inside the housing. I know some fellows from the French Mustang forum swapped this bulb to an LED bulb and the light output is really better.

The main advantage of this housing is that you can put everything you want inside : H8 LED/HID or H11 LED/HID bulb. So you can create your own light with an high powered range of lumens output.

Yes, you have to self adjust the light, there is one screw to set the output UP/DOWN.

Also keep in mind Canada uses halogen fog lights as well (for DRLs) so you're not limited to Europe.

Understood, but yet couldnt find anything but US versions wherever I looked.

No one sells these or I'm using the wrong keywords, cause the US versions suck for any light, and hoping the non-us versions with leds will be better and function as they should and not just be aesthetic and useless.

Wish they had a better picture other then a sketch.

And would you know if they are adjustable, like the EU version?

They should be. If you want to be 100%, send a message to the guys at www.fordpartsuk.com. They're great to deal with.

My goal is to see which emits the best light with LEDs in place cause the US version puts nothing out in my opinion.

This looks very different then Johns: Meaning the Lens itself at least from the pictures.

That's because my light has 2 functions DRL + Fog, the canadian version seems to be only for fog.
Kind of. The Canadians use the fog light bulb at lower voltage for a DRL (this is my understanding of its operation). The Europeans have a separate low wattage "city light" bulb used for DRL in lieu of a dimmed fog lamp bulb. But for AngelDeath's purposes, I'd assume the single bulb orientation would be more in line with what he wants to achieve?
