I'm sure this has been asked before, but changed my wheels recently and my speedometer is off by 5mph can I fix this myself or do I have to take it into dealership for them to fix it

I was just curious if it was something I could do. Will the dealership charge? I really don't trust them touching my car...

Dealerships aren't going to re-calibrate your car for aftermarket modifications.

Did you not properly spec the new tires to have the same rolling circumference as the wheels you took off?

As said before, a whipple flare tool can fix this. A Xcal4 from SCT also can.

That is incorrect. Only the Whipple can. SCT cannot on 15+.

Seriously?

Is this something Ford did or something SCT can't do? I've been using Xcal's to reprogram VSS signals for years, what a bummer it won't work anymore.

The 15+ are a lot more complicated unfortunately, SCT hasn't figured it out yet. I assume Whipple has because their relationship with Ford is about as good as it gets.

Apparently it's better than the relationship Ford has with it's dealers.
