Dealer quoted me $120.

Local forum, highly recommended guy quoted $170 cash cause he has a "corghi touchless" machine which I hear is good, but I don't know what ford uses.

I mean it's not a big price difference, but I'm already going to ford for oil change so I figured I'd do it all there.

A wheel is a wheel, a tire is a tire. No reason the dealer can't handle it. Just make sure you look them over after, make sure the tech didn't forget what he was doing and leave an indent in the wheel lip or something.

Oh, well I should also mention their 20s going into275/35/20. I was told today type of tires are a bit harder to get into

Considering you can buy new fords with factory 20" and 22" wheels, they will have a machine capable of handling that. Hell, Mustangs have factory 20's.

When I had my Forgestar wheels mounted I took my 2015 S550 to a wheel and frame shop who made a strong commitment to not scratching my $1600 wheels. I think I paid about $175 for the four wheels.

Depends on the machines used, we use full touchless top of the line machinery. So a lot of people just come to us for the mounting and balancing services as we guarantee a proper job.

As mentioned above find a shop with a full touchless machine. My local Ford dealer does not have one and while I've used them for my tire work the last few years, and they've been great (pricing and service), when I went to an aftermarket wheel they declined the work. Found a shop locally that I never looked at before (I thought they only did trucks and busses) who had a touchless machine. Happy so far.

They have a hunter touchless machine so I guess i'm good, thanks guys! Charge $160 though, but haven't found any cheaper.

It's worth $160 to ensure your wheels aren't scratched! That's about what I paid to have mine mounted. My only regret is they used black valve stems on brushed titanium wheels, but I found chrome covers to go over the black valve stems. I have new stainless valve stems to use when I have to buy tires and change the wheels next time...

$160 is well spent when it comes to making sure your items are not damaged in mounting and balancing.
