UPDATE: So they headers finally arrived this week. Sorry for the delay, I have been swamped with work. Here is a video of the unboxing of the headers.

General Highlights:

-Definitely not cheap tinny metal, they seem to be decent quality stainless steel vs BBK mild steel designs.

-Welds look really good (Arguably better than BBK's).

-No significant imperfections

-Overall design emulates BBK

Next step is to get some high temp BBQ Flat Black grill paint and give them a good coating. I will definitely be using the stock MLS gaskets and not the crush gaskets. After they are coated I will have them installed at the shop my buddy works at to make sure every thing is sealed well. Stay tuned.

**Once again, here's the reference of the build quality of the BBK shorties for comparison (not worth the $300-$400 price range IMHO): http://www.fastfordmuscle.com/index.php/topic/209-thoughts-on-bbk-shorty-headers/page-10#entry10122

Coated multiple times with high temp flat black grill paint. Next up is to have them installed.

Wow...$170 huh. Those look great! Definitely interested to hear how these work out and sound with the GT exhaust. Maybe another addition to consider.

1200*F. There's also an automotive exhaust paint rated up to 2500* F. Never had issues with the cheaper grill paint so I never tried the 2500*F stuff.

I went with BBKs cause I had a set from a sale from sometime back that was meant for my 2013. Never installed them so I put them on the new Mustang. In the past I have installed a few of the EBay headers and have no issues with fitment, performance, or longevity in either my car or a friend's car we did the install on. i can tell you almost always in the case of shorty headers I do not notice one difference at first drive. After a couple hundred miles and break in time I do feel the difference they make. Car has to learn after all. Reality is you wont notice much gains till paired up with an intake and full exhaust system. I know the GT TB upgrade help tie it in real nice. I hope they don't scratch the crap out of your nice paint job. Those headers are a pain to install.
