I always wondered about that. Only way it makes sense is if the ones without the sensors started as ones with sensors and it costs to remove them and fill the holes. LoL

You're right! Possibly different suppliers for some reason, only thing I can think of.

Benny do these have a CP number?

Also the quantities used in production can contribute to this. Ford would most likely get a better deal when purchasing in larger volume.

This panel is not available for purchase online as it must be ordered through your local dealer's exchange program. Same goes for Radios and Clusters.

What's a local dealers exchange program?
Curious, does that included the radio delete panel from the gtr?

Its a program in which dealers order through a Ford authorized repair facility. Once the replacement comes in you have to hand in your old part or pay the core charge which can be very expensive.

Yes the delete panel because it has HVAC switches on it is handled in the same manner.

In other words if you don't own one, you can't buy one. Lol

Not necessarily , If the dealer is willing to accept the information verbally and you are willing to pay the core charge you can get one.

I used to do it when I was behind the counter for some time but the core is no joke, sometimes 500-1000 bucks

Benny, I worked behind the counter at a Ford dealer for 3 years when I was completing my degree and it was a great experience on some levels, Cost minus on D2D is ALWAYS a good find, lol
We never had authorization to what you explained unfortunately.

Its quite the experience for sure, I started in 98' at the dealer but not with Ford.

Can you add the parts for the GT350R trim panels? Specifically the 4 aluminum dash trim pieces, gauge surround, shifter surround, and interior door handle pieces? I'm looking to replace all my chrome trim with something a little less flashy.
