I was all ready to hate that...................but

However, base it on the Mustang's platform ( :cough: S650, Ford!!) and call it Falcon. Then Ford would have a rival for the Dodge Charger, which is my favourite "saloon" currently on sale :)

Agreed. Call it a a Falcon. Heck, call it an Interceptor. Call it a Galaxie. I should have said "Mustang-based Sedan" in the title.

Targa. I'd prefer to see a regular Mustang with a Targa roof or sun/moon roof.

^ If Ford offered a version of the Falcon here, that would be my#1 choice to replace my Focus. But since they don't Fusion Sport will have to do.

I've been saying this to my wife for years. It makes zero sense for Ford to have a bespoke platform, which is modular in nature, rather than using that modularity and building a larger vehicle, either a Lincoln Mark IX or Ford Thunderbird, or a Ford Falcon. Whatever. I wanted an Aussie Falcon so bad, that I almost bought a Chevy SS, it was THAT good of a vehicle. (It really was, BTW. Stupid fast, amazing grip and cornering, great brakes and shifter, plus a HUD. Too bad it looked boring.)

She thought I'd lost my mind when I told her I was thinking about a Chevy.

Anyway, yeah, I'd love to see that, even if it's akin to the Cadillac CTS/CTS-V/CTS Coupe/CTS Wagon.

I would love a ford falcon. I actually wanted to go for a Chevy SS but it was a bit out of my price range. It could compete with the charger, and have the lincoln compete with the more luxurious sports sedans.

Assuming it's offered with a v8 and a manual...

I'd like to see it with the rear axle pushed back three inches.

That color, stripe, and edgy design makes it feel very 80's cyberpunk-like. I'm not so sure...

But to be fair, I haven't seen a single 4 door Mustang drawing or rendering I've really been about.

Coupe sketch is interesting I love the look from the rear tire back, really nice fast back design. Not to keen on the test, mid reminds me of a charger and front looks too much like an s197. Overall nice attempt.

Oh and I really dig the retro big rear wheel and small front
