Silly options I wish I had

I thought the convertible had the locking console from the enhanced security package. It's an internal lock that activates when you lock the doors.

A HUD would be nice.

Mine is a convertible, so I hadn't thought about the roofline. A targa would be cool, but it would have to fit in the trunk.

I do plan on some stereo upgrades, mostly adding a decent subwoofer.

I'll try to figure that out then. I remember seeing something about that, but whenever I try to test locks I seem to auto unlock everything.

Looks like I have to go do some more newb research.

If we get to vote, I would vote for the heads up display.....and of course you never have enough horses under the hood!

If the GT 500 rumors are valid ... *that* will be solved.

That's interesting -- if you lock the doors the console is locked. It's still kind of semi-secure though, because you can simply reach over and hit the unlock button. This *does* trigger the alarm, but someone could grab and go pretty quick.

I guess I'll continue to keep valuables in the glove box when the top is down.

I didn't know this for the first week or two I had the car either until I read the manual. Don't feel bad pretty sure there have been a few people that have asked about this.

Makes me wish the forum had a way to break down important technical posts and information by car area with some sort of visual diagram. I know we have the different areas already but a more condensed version with only important information would be amazing. Obviously very manpower intensive and unrealistic hope though :/

In addition to the pony light changing color I wish the interior button lights would change color with the "mycolor".

Also I am curious if the center console does lock with the enhanced security package as I thought this was part of it.

I just went out and tried it.

It *does* lock when the car is locked and exited. You could still get into it though because the door lock button is active (it probably has to be, for safety) so you can reach over, unlock it and get into the console.

It *does* trigger the alarm when you do that, but it's in "beep beep mode" and doesn't squeal unless you open the door.

1. A more customizable interior (colors of inserts, dash, headliner, materials types and colors, ect.)
2. An audio system better than the base system but without the Sync 3/Apple CP touch screen (because I don't need a touch screen in my car).
3. Changing the instrument lights on the base model.
4. Toggle switches on the base model
5. GT350 Recaros optional for all models
