So I've been meaning to trade my Ecoboost for a GT with a stick. Heck you might even remember my old post about it. Turns out my insurance is only gonna go up 30 bucks for the GT, so i just might jump the gun and pick up a Grabber Blue Mustang GT with a manual tomorrow! Any advice on driving it? I'm assuming don't mash the pedals. I'll keep y'all posted on comparing the Ecoboost and the GT!:headbang:

You aren't getting screwed on the trade?

A little bit. Car is worth 19-21k according to Ford, and I owe 15k, so I'm hoping to get back 4-6k on the trade. I also plan on putting down maybe 2-3k on top of that, so my overall payment (car payment+insurance) will only be going up 70-100 bucks. That sounds good to me, but I'm still going to think about it before making a decision.

Change out the clutch spring to the Steeda spring assist and it will feel a lot better.

I gotcha. Hopefully factoring happiness into the equation. Not everything is about the all mighty dollar.

You're making the right choice with a Grabber GT!

Grabber blue is da bomb and the absolute second-best color for the S550!

Other than the loss of all that part throttle torque. You'll probably enjoy the GT. The grabber blue is a great color. Screams look at me.

Your gonna love the GT with a stick. Such a fun car. Just do it and think later. Don't sound like you'll get totally hosed.

Not sure about Grabber blue. YMMV
Black for me. I like sneaking in and out without being noticed as much.

If you are going to buy new...why not wait till the 18's are released?

Yeah my insurance only went up $30ish as well. I agree that grabber blue is one of the best colors imo. I get daily compliments on my car. Every once in a while I also see people taking pictures next to my car.

I still need to black out the emblems and tint the lights.
