Just bought Phase 2 and going with Lund. Not sure how long it'll take for them but I'll get this installed as soon as it gets here.
Nice,..........good luck bro!
Keep us posted Alton.

What exactly did you buy?
Not sure what you mean. Phase 2 kit includes a 80mm pulley, fuel pump controller, RDT reflash voucher, and 8 spark plugs. The lund tune includes the nguage device and a tune.

Just wondering why you would buy the phase 2 kit from Roush then get a tune from Lund....? Aren't you spending more money that way?

Meh, not really that much. I'm having a friend help install it and not paying outrageous labor to the nearby shop or dealer for install. Plus the guy in this thread isn't the first one I've heard complaining about it so I'm just wanting to take a slightly different route.

If you want your $$ worth then ditching the Roush tune is the best thing you could do. It is a night a day difference going from a Roush tune to a Lund tune

@Kyle@ROUSH and others who have experience with upgrading -- I plan to buy the Phase 2 upgrade kit on Friday and I'm not completely sure how all of this tuning stuff goes. My assumption is that there's going to be some tune/calibration adjustment or something required once upgrading.

Regarding the tune stuff specifically, how does this work? Do I need to take it to the shop that installed Phase 1 on it or is there like a file or something I'd download from Roush?

Again, I'm learning as I go here and just took my car to the shop that did all of my other mods when I got P1 installed. Trying to find some alternatives because of some annoying things about the shop that I don't really want to get into here.
All of our files are transferred to the vehicle using a J2534 pass-through device, as long as the place doing the upgrade has such device they can download the file and upload to the vehicle

Thanks Kyle@ROUSH! I finally got Phase 2 installed over the weekend and just finished my tuning process with Lund. Nguage is sexy and hard to stop looking at it while driving too. Car feels really good but I can also tell the difference between the low end power when it comes to the different tunes. It's about that time to order some new tires now.

I'm noticing that my IATs are averaging 120-133 though and going to consider installing the VMP dual fan heat exchanger next week. Before the install I was around 90-100 average when cruising and 115+ when idle. Now it's 120-133 when cruising and 133+ when idle. Anyone experience this and have any results from after the heat exchanger install or anything else?

Lund has been really great to work with and extremely fast responses. I sent them my data logs from this morning and didn't even finish eating a bowl of cereal before they responded back, lol.

Does anyone here actually have any additional cooling stuff going on other than the VMP dual fan triple pass heat exchanger?

I'm about to wire up dual 9 inch cooling fans. I'll have a write up I a few months. Going to rip out my motor trans and build everything up. Will take time.
