Crazy that each PP rotor weighs 33.5lbs!! I would of guessed 20lbs.

Hell no performance brake rotors are damn heavy! I've done a few brake jobs on Mercedes AMG models, and they are some heavy sum-bitches!

Email them, they do not have their S550 kit listed but it is available.

They told me the 13" rotor kit with the 4 piston billet calipers will stand up to mild track work and "spirited driving" but it was fairly clear that they were designed for lightening up the front for dragging.

They do have a "HD" kit for harder track work.

this is becoming a very great and informative thread.. the weight savings in a different brake set up all together is close to 100 pounds.. and that's just crazy.

Aerospace Lightweight Street Rotor - 14.3lbs (28.6lbs pair)

OEM 2-Piece Driveshaft / Manual: 36.2lbs
Shaftmasters 1-Piece Aluminum DS - 19lbs

is 55.4 pounds of weight. with just those two things, definitely something ill be doing in the future.

Since it will be a popular mod, we might also want to note the weight added by upgraded half-shafts which I believe is 18lbs for the FRPP shafts.
