In this day and age and with these cars, $2000 for 100hp is an absolute bargain. In fact I don't even think that's too feasible unless you find really cheap used parts. Is 100 hp worth $2,000 (likely more)?
Good to know, I just purchased cat deletes instead of headers based on reading this kind of feedback from yourself as well as several others.I have tracked power gains with my upgrades each step for the most part. I made 453whp with the gt350 IM using mak cat deletes and stock tb. My current setup is with headers and gt350 tb. Very small power increase but moderate torque increase. If you are looking for bang for the buck go cat deletes instead. If you are looking for every last NA hp then get the headers.
Did you change the shift rpms to get most the gains and if so how much are you spinning it to? What is the rest of the exhaust setup if you are running stock mani's?Gt350 manifold, gt350 tb and stock manifolds here, went from 400 rwhp with cold air intake and catback only to 430 rwhp with 350 manifold 350 TB and a unrefined tune on 93 octane My tune has since been perfected and also I am running e85 so I'm probably at 440 minimal with e85 . Car is night and day compared to stock manifold, no low end torque loss and it's much faster . Going to drag strip soon
Most power is coming 7500 rpm and I'm shifting 7700 7800, drops rpms right in the sweet spot with mt82 and 3.73s! I have a corsa extreme catback , stock manifolds and cats. As long as you get a quality tune it makes a huge difference, these motors aren't torque monsters they simply need to rev!! They are happier revving much higher then stock manifold restricts them toDid you change the shift rpms to get most the gains and if so how much are you spinning it to? If you don't wanna go forced induction then 350 manifold is the way to go , or you can go forced induction afterward actually just get a pro charger. Gt350 manifold makes a big difference though I'd recommend to anyoneNow that prices or the GT350 intake mani have dropped and HPTuners can flash AND modify the Power Pack 3 calibration from Ford Performance this has really become much more affordable and worth it for me.
New Ford part # GR3Z-9424-C Tasca is where most people are getting them for less than $600 plus shipping. I'm guessing ANF WBL or Levittown will price match.Where are the cheap GT350 IM being sold?
Nice! Thank you.New Ford part # GR3Z-9424-C Tasca is where most people are getting them for less than $600 plus shipping. I'm guessing ANF WBL or Levittown will price match.
Seriously?! How many times do I have to try and explain this?I have yet to be able to find it for that price, fordparts.com lists it full retail for me with no quantity in stock.
Yep, seriously, have gone onto the sites suggested, picked Tasca, shows none in stock and full retail.Seriously?! How many times do I have to try and explain this?
