Hell yes :headbang:. Can't wait to do it again, but with a parachute next time, haha.
Ill be doing the Wanna go fast and Texas mile this fall with my new setup. Do you have the Brembo's up front and still recommend a chute? Im hoping to do over 200 in the 1/2.

Also did you unplug your abs sensors to go past 188mph?

You used the C85 from VP, right? Did you tune for it prior, or just pour it in? My local stations all have E90 right now, but not sure the case in October.
I use c85 and Lund said I didn't have to retune for it.

I make 1060whp/978tq on 22psi. I was running 4 stages of boost through my Leash, ramping it up to 22psi by 3-4 seconds into my passes.
3.15s id assume and how tall of a tire? auto stall? manual?

id have the biggest grin known to man to wring out a 190 mlh half mile ! :D
:headbang:

Travis was saying that there is still a limiter up top, close to 200. I assume this is what he was referring to?

Yea, I was told the car has a hard limiter around 188ish. One way to get around it is to unplug all 4 abs sensors. Im just not sure I want to go 200+ without abs. lol

Burnin4 that is defiantly hauling the MAIL!! congrats!

Let me answer some of these questions....

I didn't have to unplug anything, Ken Bjonnes handled all of the details from the tuning aspect, zero problems.

I do not have Brembos but I did buy 4 new dba slotted T4 rotors, Hawk hps pads, and SS brake lines/fluid, was enough to get me stopped over a 1/2 mile. If I didn't have an additional 1/2 mile to slow down then I'd definitely need a chute, which I'm adding for those strips that are less then 5500ft.

I have 3.31 gears, with a PP cast iron diff housing and a wavetrac differential. I was not using my 2step, and didn't load up my stall, I eased her out of the hole then put the hammer down about 2-3 seconds into the run. I was running a set of 305/45-17 MT R's, not sure how tall they are but could find out. Here's a video from inside and outside of the car...

Thanks errybody, I'll be at a 1/4 strip soon, should see some 8.8's at 155+ on a prepped surface.

Most all station 85 is 85% ethanol and 15% 84 octane. The race 85 versions are still 85% ethanol but 15% 93octane or more.

I tune on pump e85, but when I race and rank up the boost I will splash in "race" e85 just to make it extra safe. The car always adds timing then anyway.
That's what I did, tune on the Sheetz station e85, then run the good stuff when its game time. I'll try some meth/water to cool my iat's, although a bigger ic would be nice too.

Bad ass Austin, congrats!

I know you have probably said before but I don't recall, did you change valve springs and if so which did you use? Also, did you modify your turbo kit at all?

Thanks! Yes, MPR went through my heads when they built my motor, I have their custom spec valve springs, upgraded valves, and a multi angle valve job. No modification to my Hellion kit, off the shelf twin 62's. I do have a qtp electric cutout's, off the tail end of the turbo piping, under the driver/passenger seat area.

I'm already thinking about my next event, going to do some weight reduction, considering a few other upgrades.
