It's challenging but I love how it really pushes the car to its limit handling wise. I just hate making the drive out there

Didn't upload the video of the lap as it's really shaky, but here is one that is somewhat watchable. I'll have a better mount before the next time I hit the track.



There was another 16 Mustang base GT w/ PP that was there that was def. going faster than me. He is a SCCA F street guy with a couple of small mods.

Hy Brent, do you just have the GoPro suction cup stuck to the side of your helmet?

Missed this before. It's one of adhesive mounts on the side of my helmet. It normally only gets used when I get a new car and haven't made a mount yet. One of the traqmate guys put it on a few years back at an event when we were in a hurry.


Mike Skeen mounts his on the front chin of the helmet and it works better than my location. I can't do that on my current helmet due to the front chin being pointy (simpson diamondback). Might do that on my new helmet as I'm now about to be out-of-date with mine. I'm not positive on how and where I'm going to mount the camera in the mustang yet, but have a few ideas. I like the POV that shows the track and the driver so it'll be behind me for sure. I did use the suction cup in the M3 to mount the camera to the sunroof.
