There is no "tune fix" for the 300kph hard limiter. You were probably close to it. Taller tire will give you 190ish versus 186 on the factory tire size. We've been 205 so far on stock PCM by pulling the abs sensors. Not unplugging them..just pulling them and zip tying them up out of the way.

^my first 2 passes i hit a limiter at 177mph. I logged my 2nd pass, Ken made a change, then the problem went away.

There's a limiter on some cars that's a little lower (depends on the package). Those can be raised from the lower limiter to the 300kph limiter. But, 300kph is a hard limiter that you can't get around through tuning. We ran 193mph before hitting it at the Texas Mile. ;)

Does abs still function when pulled? Is this the only fix besides stand alone ecu?

Negative sir.. just like pulling the ABS fuse, it's all disabled. ;)

We're working on a plug and play box that will allow the ABS to work up to the limiter, then clamp the signal. If you're worried about ABS over 186mph, then you probably have bigger problems. lol

Thanks for the response. But not sure how I have bigger problems by asking a valid question.

I think he meant if you hit the brakes hard enough to get into abs above 186mph you'll probably be dead anyways...

Didn't mean that in an ugly way.. lol

Just that at 186mph, ABS isn't really something we're worried about. The car is going to be upside down and backwards if it goes wrong. ;)
Travis, you can't just pull the ABS fuse?

No sir.. that just disables abs and advancetrac. This limiter closes the throttle plate above 300kph.
Did you pull all 4, front and rear? Just wire tied out of the way, huh?

Have any S550's gone 200+ in the half mile? Im curious what power level it takes to go 200, or how much weight I need to drop to pick up 10mph+.

Does anyone know of an S550 that has gone faster then 190 in the 1/2 Mile? I know about Dustin/ Injected Engineering car that went 193, but that run ended with a failure. Im curious what power level it takes to go 200, or how much weight I need to drop to pick up 10mph+.

Yeah, I saw they went 207, but that was with a 5.8. Very impressive, but curious about a 5.0 powered S550.
