I checked mine tonight and found it looking very odd. I'm going to replace it.
I have been having clutch /trans shifting issues and it was all just replaced.

It looks like it was not inserted right.

I was able to push mine in a quarter inch further ... no leakage noticed mind you.

Is there a fix for this yet like a new style hose/line?
Mine is broken and needs to be replaced.

Don't think there is any new style hose. Get a new one from the Ford dealer and it should work fine if installed correctly.

Checked mine today. Mine was off like the first picture. Gave it a little push and it went up like the 2nd pic with just a little fluid coming out. Thanks for the post op.

That line connection is not the same as push loc air fittings used on trucks.

I've put several hundred miles on since I pushed the connector on all the way, checked it last night and it hasn't moved.

So that's good...

Checked mine. It was most of the way back the nipple. I could bottom it out on the reservoir but it just slides back outwards. Odd... Doesn't seem to leak, but I'll check it in the future.

Checked mine, brand new 2017 with less than 500 miles, the line was almost all the way off. I would bet its coming from the factory this way. I could definitely feel it "pop" on when I pushed it.

Wow, this could be widespread considering that most ppl on here who checked it have some looseness. Is there a TSB for this? I'm checking mine tonight!
