Because real road racers use slicks or at least the semi slick R compounds, which are not availible in 20" sizes.

Note that the factory GT4 race car, runs 18" wheels.
F1 - 13" wheels
NASCAR - 15" wheels

I'm surprised they're calling this a concept. The S197 wide-body was well received and they built a number of them.

IMO the car will be well-received, just look at the comments in this thread. In the past members on this site have not been pleased with SA's version of the S550, but most agree they got the wide-body S550 right! By the way Twin Turbo that wide-body S197 is sweet!!

Have you ever heard of the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup?? They have "R" compound and come in 20"

I like the car, the body etc, looks aggressive , like a mean matha coming at you but, and im not saying because i deal with wheels but I personally dont think the wheels flow with the car/ Maybe 19" would make a better look, just thinking out laud.

Wider is always better.
