I am looking to find some actual user feedback on cams for our cars. Does anyone have any video showing their car at idle after installing cams on their s550? Is anyone running cams on their car with the VCT locked?

I've read all the threads about cams but can't find any documented videos or great information about it.

Most off the shelf cams offered like the Comps do not require vct being locked for our cars. If the car is tuned properly the idle will be like stock. The vct tuning allows the car to idle normally and give the best torque curve, fuel mileage, and emissions. More aggressive cams or custom grinds may require that but Comp stage 3s for example do not. Expect a 30-50hp gain with the Comps from what I've seen. If you are looking for lope that can be done in the tune with stock cams or upgrades. Most do not recommend it because it just makes the drivability, etc worse.

I have Stage 3 Comp Cams - with a good tune you can't tell the difference!
If you are just after that stupid looped idle I have a video answer for ya...
