using castrol platinum 5w-30. dont race much but it gets really hot here in japan.... and the shops dont carry 5w-20 lol

ams oil is superior. Its level 4 synthetic. It is expensive though. Especially considering Mobile 1 5qt is $22 at walmart,.. i use mobile 1

You mean group IV, no levels in oil.

There are GIII oils that stomp on Amsoil, Redline, Motul, Joe Gibbs, Bran Penn, and so many more to name that cost half their price. Gotta know what you're doing with oil, it's more than just a "lubricant".

Using motorcraft 5w20

Last car I had success with castrol GTX.. I liked there commercial as well and never had problems...walmart almost always has the best price.. I might switch back to castrol GTX but the ford OEM stuff is great
