Spotted the other race red mustang (a GT manual) on Christmas day.
There is only 2 in this town at the moment (my RR EB & the RR GT)
I did follow him for a block. So it was a rare sight for the only 2 S550 Mustangs in town to be together again since leaving the local dealership.

I don't think he is a member on here :)

As mentioned in the other thread. Saw a Deep Impact Blue on the highway near Springwood (QLD) around 6.30pm, anyone here?

It was going the other way (Northbound) so not sure what model.

I was shown a race red (GT Auto) at the Q Ford (Springwood) today. It was getting ready to be shipped to their other dealership at Morton Bay I think. Very nice :)

Still no news on mine :(

I'll re-post this here;

I saw a Magnetic GT manual with nickel wheels at Rebel Ford in SA.

Just sitting in the car in the showroom rowing through the gears felt good. Surprisingly short shift.

Saw a yellow one at Albion north side brisbane. Might have been that dealer show car they had a few months ago

That's the one I have looked at which may give away my dealer. Testing it early in new year.

I was given permission to sit in the above GT fastback to see if I have a problem with my 6'4" frame and my boof head. I had about 2'' head clearance with the seat set as low as possible. The seat could have been bigger all round, but will suffice. I personally found the dark colour seemed to hide all its curves and that wasn't helped by the black wheels. I believe the $800 polish that I had on my BA FPV GT-P some years ago would really make the car shine and bring out the curves and lines. The difference that it made to my mandarin GT-P was unbelievable. The car is really more suitable for people that are 6'0" and under. One of the many joys of being 6'4".
Wil, If you are reading this, the factory number plate mounts would give you all the dimensions and angles and holes that Phil at Lakin Plates would need to make up his backing plates.
Ian.

I'm 6'1 and didn't find to much trouble with it, but certainly would be getting tight at 6'4.

I wouldn't want to spend long in the back seat either haha

6'5" and a couple of inches head room with the seat down. Head rest was a bit awkward though - in my upper back.

No room behind me though :)

I'm quite accustomed to not fitting in seats though

I'm 6'8" and the drivers seat of the one I sat in was actually touching the rear seat. Head room is acceptable I guess you can say.

All in all one of the most comfortable driving positions I've experienced, I'm used to not fitting in this at all but the Mustang is a pleasant surprise.

I can't fit in an S197 Mustang.

Geez Wil...6'8""....have you considered renting out some of your height. I need another six inches to get to 6'......
