I'm about to pull the trigger on a new 2015 GT Premium but I'm torn between two colors.

First, about every vehicle I've ever had has been black other than the 2007 GT I owned which was Grabber Orange. I really liked that car and that color. But the yellow has always caught my eye.

And yes, I do love the black still. But I'm just ready for something different and that is unique. I like the Magnetic and the different red colors available but these two (CO and TY) are my favorites.

The Comp Orange and Triple Yellow are both very nice looking cars. I've only seen a couple of each so if you have any photos I would like to see them, especially of the C/O which is hard to find in my area for some reason.

And, if you've had any paint issues with either color, I would like to hear that as well?

Thanks in advance!

I care about infotainment
CO over TY 100% imho. Not only is CO more unique but you pay a premium for TY, which isn't the case for CO.

If you are looking for advice, I will tell you this from the point of view of a new car dealer.

If you go with Yellow, you will get a lower trade-in number later down the line. It would be a tougher out-right private party sell as well. The reason is that the color only sells to very specific people. You really limit your buying audience.

Now, that said, I almost bought my GT in Triple Yellow last Friday. It is really beautiful. The dealer had both colors on the lot. The Competition Orange is really great looking too. But, since I am in the business, I know the limitations of moving a Yellow car. I went the Deep Impact Blue.

So, my advice, from a pure business standpoint, is go with the CO.

The is a guy that lives down the street from us with a Yellow GT from 2 generations back. And also on same street is a guy with on new Camaro in Yellow. Looking at both of those cars, yellow does not really age well either. I am sure that if treated and cared for it would be better, but......

Anyway, that's my 2 cents, and that's probably all it's worth! (I am NOT a Ford dealer.)

All of the colors have threads with photos here:

I have TY and it's a very rich and bright color. I love it, hence why I bought it. DIB, Ruby Red, and Race Red are also really really good colors. CO...eh... Colors are very subjective. My opinion is to go to a dealer with all of them and just stare at them lol.

I saw a co and Ty side by side. Ty all the way. Co looks great clean and in sun but looks washed out in shade and when it's even the slightest bit dirty.

Easy to see which one stands out the most color-wise. ;) Hint hint hint. :D
