PSA: I just hit a speed bump today. I have gone over speed bumps before but this one was one of those real wide ones. Maybe about 2ft wide. Car is lowered on Steeda progressive springs. Going to have to be more carefull around speed. Bumps with the jacking rails. Hopefully this wll be an added protection to other things underneath the car.

I definitely need to get a set. I went over a wide speed bump over at ODU today and it gave a little love tap to the exhaust. Road wasn't wide enough to take it at an angle :/

So, has anyone successfully installed these rails on a convertible?

I really want a set, but from the pictures I've seen from one vert owner's installation attempt, it "appears" that the bolt positions may be different (than the hardtops) and the required modifications/drilling on the rail could compromise its strength.

I've been watching this thread regularly, hoping for some additional insight and validation before Black Friday, but unfortunately it hasn't come. Time to step up and ask!

Thanks, Rick

If you can find us a local Valdosta, GA or Pompano Beach, FL convertible to try them on, we should be able to get some convertible ones going. I know that you have to drill out the factory convertible bracing hole to be slightly larger and then you can install our jacking rails no problem.

Can someone help me out with some additional info. Not sure where the "bracing hole is, on the rail or on the car? If it's on the car...where? TIA

Never too late :) go ahead and place the order and just mention the details in the comments box! We'll hold it for you in Valdosta along with the rest of your mod transformation!

Anyone have torque specs for the bolts ? Not in the instructions or on the site . Just installed them and I agree I wish they were slightly longer towards the rear but these are super awesome as is
