Exactly. Using the same nitrous jet you are not adding additional oxygen. (except for the small amount introduced since ethanol carries oxygen in its chemistry bonds). So all you are doing is increasing the fuel to match the air introduced to correct the a/f ratio.

Using your example it would mean a 600 hp car on 93 would make 1050hp on E85 with no other changes.
If the only source of catalyst was a nitrous bottle yes it would.

Damn that's fast. Is that on stock tires?
My best time is [email protected] on street tires
They went bald and I was having issues with digs on the street so I replaced with the NT555R which still spin lol.

Thanks!

11.8 is around the corner at 118 with a little better air.

another 11 second pass, trap speed went up a little as this was on mainly E85. Full weight/half a tank.
Am I understanding your post correctly? On street tires your GT automatic with only a Lund tune and catbacks only ran an 11.9? What gears are you running?

yes $100 upcharge, just like the normal e85 charge
Where is the logic in this? E85 is fuel no different then 87, 91, 93 Octane fuel. They obviously have the tunes worked out and available just like the Octane fuels and if you say it is because it's a "Power adder" then the same can be said for Octane above 87. But those dont cost $100 extra.
With the extra $100 added it now puts cost in the same ball park as the competitor. I could honestly say if I didn't have to pay an extra $100 that would make me lean more towards Lund and a lot less consideration of the competition.

I was talking of possibly increasing the ignition timing on E85 when compared to 93. Due to the cooler cylinder temps and the higher octane rating.

You asked if you could run more timing on nitrous if you use E85 instead of gasoline and the answer is no.

First, ask yourself, Why do you need to remove timing on nitrous?

Nice - I went to the track tonight (BMP) but couldn't get a decent run in. Super busy, (3 passes from 7 - 11:30pm), street tires, and a new clutch didn't make for a good time....

Yup, Lund FF tune with e60-e65, catback, and tire (nothing crazy even, just a DD NT555r).

Haven't ran pure e85 at the track yet.

Few of us went to Gainesville. Heard it was busy down there.

And which competition would that be.... You sound like you would ask for $.50 off a dollar hamburger, or you would go next door to Burger King

I can honestly say if you are making your tuner decisions based on $100, your priorities are all messed up.

Not too mention it was extremely nice of them to offer a free promotional period. They didn't have to. I can tell you after having the tune a couple weeks it's worth the 100bucks.

I know gas varies everywhere, but how much does e85 fuel cost in comparison to 91 or 93 fuel, wherever you guys are at?

I'm looking to do this upgrade as well.
