So using the usual internet forum analysis of sales numbers that we see month to month, this means that Mustang fans ran out to buy the 14's after the '15 reveal, and the S550 converted a bunch of Camaro guys who held off purchases awaiting the reveal.

Sound about right? :D

Meh 1.6% less market share than the Camaro. For all of GM's talk about how the Camaro outsells the Mustang, that's nothing.

If I were chevy I'd be worried about these sales figures on the last year of a 10 yr mustang platform and the first year of a camaro refresh. Not good.

LOL GM and Chysler are blaming the cold weather for poor sales.

Wow chally sales took a beating too.

I really wonder how much, if any of this had to do with the S550.

Surprised the Challenger sales have been rising year over year. I don't like much about that car (looks and otherwise) over the Camaro and Mustang.

The Camaro refresh looks really awful and really does nothing to encourage current owners to trade up or entice new owners. It seems like this refresh has locked many potential buyers into a holding pattern for the 2016 redesign.

I think we will probably continue to see the current generation putter along until the 2016 comes out.

Oh maybe the Camaro sells are down cuz they are waiting for the z28 prices. 75k for a track car that isn't legal in most events. Way to go Chevy.

glad to see the mustang out sold the CRAPMARO from the Gigantic Mistake.one look at camaro issues from camaro5,and you can see why.they cant keep them from falling apart.75k for a z28 that wont be sold to the public because its a ringer car,the watered down z28 will be sold to fools that fork over 75k plus.

That sounds about right to me,I have no interest in the NEW Mustang,I bought my first Mustang in 1966, GT 350,and have had many since then, but from what I have seen I won"t even be going to my local Ford dealer for a look or a test ride when the 2015 hit the show room.

Lol! Saw where someone over on C5 suggested perhaps the last three months trend was due to fleet sales. I think that was what Fbodfather blamed the deficit on back in October, but that trend continued for two more months!

But you didn't run out and buy a 2014 Mustang did you? If not, your decision regarding an S550 had nothing to do with actual sales in December 2013.
