Good news there. I may give the SVE a try. I'm assuming the SVE is as strong as the stock PP wheels are.......and I've spent 6 track days on those so far.
You're in good company if you do. I did about 6 days as well on the PP wheels and they were fine but just so dang heavy. It is pretty astounding how much lighter the larger SVE's are.

Which track have you run your SVE's on?

That is no joke. These things are very light. All of the unnecessary material that adds weight and not structure was removed in the form. I'd put these up against anything. Especially for the money. I could be wrong, but I can't tell a difference between these and MRR or P51's as far as structure goes.

I was debating between these and the Project6gr's or the Forgestar F14 for a track wheel.

But if these are just as strong and much cheaper, why spend the money is what I'm thinking?

One day at Hallett and one day at MSR Cresson (1.7). I plan to do the 3.1 configuration at MSR next month on them as well.

I'll ask how it goes. I'd like to do Cresson 3.1. Seems like a fun track

I would have done the 6gr's if I had the money. I know a lot of GT350 guys use them as track wheels and I think they are some of the best looking wheels for the s550.

I dont think you can go wrong with any of the options you listed.

SVE is just half the price! lol
Maybe that's what is worrying me. How they get the same strength as the others at such a cheap cost...

If you prefer a staggered fitment, we would suggest 18x10" ET43 front & 18x11" ET52 rear. Will this be a double duty setup, or specific for track use? Do you have a specific tire model that you would like to run; extreme summer, r-compound, or race slicks? The Nitto NT01's come in both 275/305 & 275/315, and work very well.

For track use, we really prefer square fitments as there are a host of benefits like tire availability, reduced understeer, tire longevity (ability to rotate) etc.

You guys don't have a square setup that you can run without spacers, correct?

We sure do, the EC-7 18x10" ET43 or 19x10" ET40 can both be used for a bolt on rotatable square fitment - of course depending on what tire size you want to install.

Here are examples of each for your reference:
