Oh yea 18+psi and 16-18* of timing for daily driving should be plenty of fun lol

Been out putting some easy miles on the car to burn thru the first tank of e85 and so far so good. Afr is on point, car starts like stock, idles perfectly and cruises nicely. Have only done some baby hits so far lol

Hahaha yea I’ll record some big boy pulls while tuning next week

So I finished off my first tank of e85 and it appears my fuel float is reading pretty accurately as it said I had 10 miles to empty and the car took 15.9 gallons. Weather was clear/dry yesterday so I went out and did my initial datalogging of idle, revs, part throttle pulls and fired off the info to Jon...should have my rpm increased revision map in the next few days and be ready for wot logging!! Also I tested my ethanol content at my regular station yesterday and it came out at 82% just like usual.

We are so close!!!

So I made some little changes under the hood to help settle my ocd. I like the uniformity of black trim pieces so I got rid of all the yellow and made the Procharger a little more stealthy while I was at it lol. I covered the engine bay with plastic after removing the washer fluid cap, dip stick, dip stick tube and my shifter trim piece (it’s been off the car since I swapped shift knobs). Cut and masked the hood release lever and the Procharger label and preped the other pieces then went to town with black plasti dip. Everything turned out great and it really has a nice uniform clean oem look to it.

Went to get the car aligned today after ripping everything apart during suspension upgrades. Actually I went in yesterday to another shop but they couldn’t get it on the rack. So todays place had low ramps and good clearance. The car actually drove straight (I used a digital angle finder) but the rear felt really light and loose. Well here’s the before/after specs...

Finally got a break in the rainy weather and went out to do some datalogging!

Did some more basic idle, rev and part throttle to 5k for revision2, but we added in wot to 5500! Everything looked good and I got my next revision this afternoon to do a 2500-7500 wot log!! Thing pulls like a mofo! Me and my buddy looked over the log and everything looks spot on. Waiting to hear back from Jon J.R. to see what’s next, but we are looking real good

I’ll get some in car vid ASAP!!

Did a little playing on the streets yesterday and learned 2nd gear is too rowdy for wot lol. Anything above 75% throttle roasts the dr’s and gets you all kids of slideways. 3rd gear is where it’s at...you can roll on the throttle and hook perfectly. Haven’t gotten any vids since the car is a handful under wot, but I’ll get some soon!

Also saw this bad boy sitting in a parking and really wanted to lure him into playing for a few bucks, but the timing wasn’t good (had my baby and fiancé with me)...

Did some more data logging yesterday since it finally dried up out here. Having trouble figuring out a way to get some good video because I want both hands on the wheel for this rowdy beast lol. Same 3rd gear 2500-7500rpm but this time I bumped into D during the hit to let the pcm shift on its own. Haven’t looked at the log yet myself, but it appeared the 3-4 shift happened around 7800rpm like it was supposed to. Also 2nd gear got me again...I was instantly on ice skates trying to gather it up and this with nt05r’s hahaha. This thing is an absolute monster...

It looks like the tune is pretty dialed in! Jon was happy with what he saw in the logs and I was as well. Timing is 17-18* throughout the rpm range and lambda floated between .76-78 on both banks. Car didn’t want anymore timing, but that’s all we wanted for my street tune anyway.

Weather looks good so I’ll be heading out to sac raceway tomorrow for the T&T and see what I can get done on the 19” nt05r aired down with a good prep. My fiancé is gonna roll too so I’ll get slips and vid!

Nice! With that Circle D you should be cranking out some nice time slips if you can hook up

Yea we are definitely excited and can’t wait to see what it does, but like you said it all depends on if it hooks or blows the tires off. Also, idk how many good clean passes I’ll get before I get da boot lol

Looking forward to seeing your numbers. Like you said, hopefully you can get more than one good run in without them shutting you down for no bar. I haven't ran out there in forever, but they stopped me more than once back in the day! Have fun with it!! :ford:

Thanks brotha! Yea I’m hoping they can cut me some slack with the new setup. I’m going to tell them I’m tuning the car and I can’t do it on the steeet hahaha

Well that didn’t go according to plan...couldn’t get the car to hook off the line without pedaling it and short shifting 1-2 myself. Tried a few different things including leaving in 2nd, but the initial hit was still too much for my 19’s and I couldn’t put down any better than a 2.0 60’. Mph was still in range (142-143) on the big end, but I was down 3-4mph from the shitty first half. The 11.111 pass was against a hellcat so that was fun driving around him after I gathered it up off the line.

On a positive note, the car ran really well and the logs I got looked perfect! 19* timing through gear 1-4, .76-.78 lambda on both banks and the pcm was giving me -5.5-6.5* the entire pass so Jon J.R @ Lund Racing nailed the tune!

Next order of business is getting a cheap 17” drag setup so we can put the power down!
